The Board of Directors understands the need for strong corporate governance and appropriate participation of the Board in the operation of the Company.

PeopleTec’s Board of Directors is comprised of members who are representative of the management of the Company along with members who are independent and not employed by the Company.

During its annual meetings, the Board reviews the operations of the Company and regularly receives briefings from senior managers of the Company.

 

 

The Board works as a guiding body that provides the Company with a strategic vision and tactical recommendations as the Company endeavors to meet the needs of its stakeholders.

Board Members

Huntsville, AL   October 28, 2007- December 31, 2010   PeopleTec, Inc. a preeminent provider of Engineering and IT services and Solutions in the Department of Defense and Civilian Federal sectors announces new Board members Bobby Bradley, Sara Graves and Chris Horgen to the Board of Directors.

 

Ms. Terry Jennings - Chairperson

Ms. Jennings was elected to serve as Chairperson, PeopleTec Board of Directors effective October 2008 for a term of one year. Her professional career has spanned many facets of corporate administration and employee relations. She has over 20 years of experience in the defense services industry. Prior to joining PeopleTec, she was a corporate Vice President of Administration at SAIC where she oversaw administrative operations for the southeast region. From 1995 through 2003, Ms. Jennings was the Chief Administrative Officer, Corporate Secretary and a Director at Quality Research, Inc. She was responsible for all aspects of corporate administration including Human Resources, Security, Facilities, Technical Publications and Corporate Information Systems departments. Ms. Jennings attended Motlow State College in Tennessee.

Mr. Doug Scalf - Director

Mr. Scalf was elected to serve as Director on the PeopleTec Board of Directors effective October 2008 for a term of one year.  His entire professional career has been in the technical services industry where he has held positions from systems analysts to Senior Vice President. Prior to joining PeopleTec he was the Vice President of Operations for Modeling, Simulation & Training at SAIC. From 1997 to 2003 he served in various capacities including Vice President and Senior Vice President for Quality Research’s Modeling, Simulation & Training Group where he was responsible for over 250 employees in eight states and annual revenues of over $25M. From 1982 until 1997 Mr. Scalf worked at Computer Sciences Corporation in various technical and management positions. He received a B.S. in Electrical Engineering from the University of Alabama in Huntsville, and has over 23 years of experience in the area of modeling, simulation and technical program management.

Mr. Chris Horgen - Director

Mr. Horgan was elected to serve as Director on the PeopleTec Board of Directors effective October 2008 for a term of one year.  He is the senior managing partner of the Southeastern Technology Fund and an Operating Consultant with Eastside Partners. Mr. Horgen has directed the Southeastern Technology Fund in making 10 investments for a total of approximately $120 million. He has 30 years of experience in mergers and acquisitions, financial advisor, and company operations. Mr. Horgen brings a wealth of operational and management expertise having been the founder of Nichols Research Corporation (Nichols) and Chief Executive Officer (CEO) and Chairman of Nichols for 18 years. He has served on the Board of Directors of four public companies and four defense technology companies.

Ms. Bobby A. Bradley - Director

Ms. Bradley was elected to serve as Director on the PeopleTec Board of Directors effective October 2008 for a term of one year. She was a Founder and President of Computer Systems Technology, Inc. (CST), a high technology R&D company with over $90 million in sales. Ms. Bradley and two associates founded the company in 1989 to provide innovative technologies and solutions to Government and commercial organizations. CST was acquired by Science Applications International Corporation (SAIC) in April, 2003. In April 2004, Ms. Bradley retired from SAIC and is currently a partner in two LLC’s, Lewis Properties and Genesis II. She currently holds a Board position on the Federal Reserve Bank Branch in Birmingham, AL and the Huntsville Botanical Garden.

Dr. Sara James Graves - Director

Dr. Graves was elected to serve as Director on the PeopleTec Board of Directors effective October 2008 for a term of one year. She is the Director of the Information Technology and Systems Center, Board of Trustees University Professor, and Professor of Computer Science at the University of Alabama in Huntsville. She is also the Director of the Information Technology Research Center at the National Space Science and Technology Center. Dr. Graves is a member of the U.S. National Committee on Data for Science and Technology of the National Research.
